The Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA) is an open, global consortium of lighting companies that aims to grow the market for 

lighting-control solutions based on Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) technology. It is the basis of the DALI international 

authentication standard IEC 62386, in order to enhance the global lighting dimming control solutions to the market purpose.

How do I choose a DALI driver?

Check with the vendor to determine whether it is the DALI 1 or DALI 2 driver.

 DALI power supply is divided into constant current power supply and constant voltage power supply, according to the load of the lamp configuration

 Choose the right DALI protocol for your application. The standard DALI protocols for LED drivers are DALI 101, 102, 207 (DT6) and DALI 101, 102, 209 (DT8).

 If the project requires D4i functionality, DALI drivers should meet the DALI 250, 251, 252, and 253 standards.

 Test a sample first. Since the driver may not be compatible with your DALI master, it is best to test the DALI driver with your DALI master.

 Set up a small system before installation. If you have different types of sensors, controllers, and drivers in your system, be sure to test them for compatibility before installing them into 

the building
